Presented By: Dent Education

What to Expect:

Want to learn how innovative organizations generate dozens of creative ideas in minutes? Or how to quickly build prototypes and test them with real users? Design Thinking is a human-centered approach to problem-solving, innovation, and creativity. In this Skill Share, you will learn and practice different tools from the design thinking process including framing “How Might We?” questions, collaborative brainstorming, idea selection, assumption extraction and prioritization, and rapid prototyping. These tools will provide you with actionable, easy-to-use, and flexible methods to being creative in teams, fail faster, and be more innovative in your work.

At Dent Education, our mission is to promote equity by empowering under-resourced youth to discover and develop their innate creative potential to shape the world around them. Our Baltimore City high school students learn the same design thinking process taught in this Skill Share to launch businesses, social enterprises, graphic design brands, fashion houses, design their own lives, and more during Bet on Baltimore, our 5-week paid summer internship.

Learn how to make ideas tangible and testable in an affordable, quick way that might just change how you view innovation!
