A discussion about Blockchain, Digital Assets and Emerging Technology with panelists that are working in the space. We will be hosting an interactive panel on Blockchain, Digital Assets and Emerging technology, that will be discussing how people are actually making a living in this industry and the future. We will also be discussing the business opportunities and roles that Baltimore will and can play in this industry. Jaime Arroyave will moderate the panel. The panelists include Samson Williams of Axes& Eggs, Cheree Warrick of Black Blockchain Consultants, and Jim Kyung-Soo Liew, Ph.D.
As part of Baltimore Innovation Week's Civic Day, volunteers will join nonprofit partners Baltimore Tree Trust and Break A Difference to plant trees in East Baltimore. In addition to planting trees, volunteers will help provide much-needed tree maintenance and trash removal. We will meet at the Lake Montebello then deploy out to nearby streets to plant trees! Volunteers of all ages welcome, but minors must arrive with this Minor Waiver & Release signed by a parent/guardian.

The ultimate goal is to improve proposal quality, submissions, and win-rate while building long-term capacity to win government and commercial bids. The SBIR/STTR Proposal Lab is funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

In this session, we will explore platforms that are working to make data and technology more accessible and relevant.
At the Baltimore Children’s Business Fair, kids will create a product or service, develop a brand, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at this one-day marketplace. The children are responsible for the setup, sales, and interacting with customers, and any parent seen selling to the customer or promoting the child’s product will result in disqualification from the competition.
This event brings together youth, families, sponsors, and tech community enthusiasts from the Baltimore region for a curated experience in robotics, drone technology, and coding. 1 full day of STEAM & Fun for youth in grades 6 - 12. Design, build, code, AND compete robots & drones
